This kitchen, which was 32 years old, was in desperate need of an upgrade. We started by relocating the fridge to give more space for cabinets and countertop space. Then, we re-did the floors throughout the main floor, as significant damage was done to the flooring.
When it came to the actual design of the kitchen, the homeowners wanted something to reflect the woodsy setting they live in, so we looked outside for inspiration. The top cabinets are a light beige and the bottom cabinets were painted a natural green to bring the tree vibes into the house. The white countertop adds a beautiful contrast between the green cabinets, brown and grey backsplash, and the beige upper cabinets.
“Before we had the renovation started in the kitchen. The kitchen was about 32 years old and was just a standard kitchen at the time. but it was time for a refresh. the renovation process went very well. Communication was key. the favourite part of our kitchen, I believe, is the overall function. We have had a few changes, like the under-counter cabinet lighting, the new location of the fridge, and the clean, crisp look. And we appreciate all of the little details that help pull everything together. it’s hard to believe that it’s our kitchen. It is a nice fresh start and it suits the environment in which we live.”
